DC Universe Images Unofficial, Unapproved

DC Universe MMO is probably the only reason I’d buy a Playstation 3 at this point. I mean sure I would like to play Final Fantasy 13 Versus but I could always just watch someone else’s playthrough and get the same wow effect. Anywho, I’m annoyed DCU will operate on a subscription basis rather than free to play(see icon that offers a free 14 day trial in images). I feel like games are moving more and more in this direction and it is really unfair. I pay $300 for a PS3, $60 for the actual games, and another ~$9 a month (~$100 a year) just to play a game where I get to interact with Superman doesn’t seem right to me. Either way, enjoy the new DC Universe MMO images.

China Rips Off Super Mario Galaxy in Duludubi Star

China Rips Off Super Mario Galaxy in Duludubi Star

In the past, other companies have created machines that look and operate similar to the Wii. It hasn’t been until now, however, that a game has blatantly ripped off a title on Nintendo’s console. Take a look at the screenshots of Duludubi Star (a Chinese title made for the PC) below and you may be reminded of a certain Wii game: Super Mario Galaxy. It really is amazing how similar Duludubi Star is. It features the same types of locations, gameplay, and moves – Almost everything you’d expect in a Mario Galaxy spinoff!

Oh China, first you create the Vii and now you have Duludubi Star. What’s next? Some sort of rickshaw racing game or maybe a chicken that runs really fast?

Final Fantasy VIII: Succession of the Witches

I really hated everything about FF8 with the exception of the Seifer, Rinoa, and the witches. The graphics were a vast improvement from FF7 but the magic system sucked and I really didn’t like the weapon upgrading. With that said, I love this song. It is the one piece of game music that I actually have on my iTunes playlist.

Enjoy.

Nintendo Power Fail – Final Fantasy IV Artwork

Back in the early 90’s Nintendo Power was the ultimate gamer magazine. It would detail secrets, give you walkthroughs, and even have a cheat codes. However it would also do terrible Americanized drawings of game characters. One of their worst was the Final Fantasy IV (II to original American gamers). Here are those drawing:

MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 2 – PSYLOCKE DLC

Psylocke DLC for MUA2 on Xbox 360

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC – Carnage

MUA2 DLC  – Carnage Gameplay

Second-rate symbiote Carnage is the first DLC (excluding Juggernaut) for Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Based on the video above, he plays a lot like swift Spider-man with a few Wolverine/Venom tactics thrown in. I’m not a fan of Carnage but having his available for download does make me want to replay the game.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Carnage

Information on Carnage

Cletus Kasady has a troubled childhood, killing his grandmother by pushing her down a flight of stairs, and torturing his mother’s dog who afterwards tries to kill him and is apparently beaten to the brink of death by his father, who receives no defense from Kasady during his trial. As an orphan, Kasady is sent to the St. Estes Home for Boys, where his antisocial behavior makes him the target of abuse from both the other orphans and the staff. Kasady gains revenge by murdering the disciplinarian administrator, pushing a girl who refused a date with him in front of a moving bus, and burning down the orphanage.

Kasady becomes a serial killer. He is captured and sent to Ryker’s Island prison where he shares a cell with Eddie Brock, who had lost his alien symbiote. Brock’s symbiote soon returns and bonds with him again, and unwittingly leaves behind the symbiote’s offspring (the symbiotes reproduce asexually, once per generation; the children are then of no consequence to the parent, so the Venom symbiote felt no need to inform Brock of the existence of the new symbiote) which gets into a cut and bonds with Kasady’s bloodstream, transforming him into Carnage. He escapes prison, and begins a series of murders, and at the scene of each crime, writes “Carnage Rules” on the walls with his own blood. He is found by Spider-Man, though the hero proves to be no match for Carnage’s powers. In desperation, Spider-Man makes a truce with Venom to fight Carnage. Carnage is defeated with sonic weaponry, but the symbiote lives on because he is merged with Kasady’s bloodstream.

Carnage goes on to recruit an army of psychopathic supervillains including Shriek, Demogoblin, Carrion, and Doppelganger to overtake New York City. They are driven back by Spider-Man, Venom, and a number of other superheroes.

Aside from Cletus Kasady, the Carnage symbiote bonds with Ben Reilly, creating Spider-Carnage, and later the Silver Surfer.

Venom eventually reabsorbs the Carnage symbiote into his own body “for good.” Without the symbiote, Kasady retains the Carnage persona by costuming himself in red paint and continuing his killing sprees, but does so as a normal human, only for Spider-Man to easily defeat him in a fight. Kasady finds a replica of the Carnage symbiote in the Negative Zone.

The Carnage symbiote later spawns a “child” symbiote, named Toxin. Carnage is one of several supervillains trying to escape from The Raft. Sentry finishes him off, flying Carnage outside the Earth’s atmosphere and ripping him apart. According to Iron Man’s computer, Kasady may not have been inside the symbiote when the Sentry ripped it apart.

Street Fighter Moment: Ryu Vs Ken

Not Super Street Fighter IV news – just funny.

Super Street Fighter IV Video – Juri vs T.Hawk

Shitty quality but this is the first video of Super Street Fighter IV in action.
